Mission 1 - Plane counted as destroyed when actually it landed safely

Minor spoilers for mission 1, but there's a trigger which is incorrectly firing when one of the AI aircraft lands, when the mission thinks it has been destroyed.

Spoiler

I was unable to find the Ju-88, as I was lost in the clouds.  It completed its mission and landed at Abbeville.  A few minutes after it landed, I started getting messages about shooting it down, and did anyone see any parachutes.

I guess the trigger for these messages is firing when the plane despawns, even if it wasn't shot down.  The debriefing screen shows an "ai abort mission" event for the Ju-88 at around the time I got the messages.

Similar thing happened to me. Ju 88 got away, I stayed with the convoy for 25min (!) and nothing happened, then came the message "bandit down". Destruction /despawning of the Ju 88 should not be the Edit: only trigger, it is pure luck to find the thing, especially in VR in the snowstorm.
But I absolutely love the campaign!

Thank you!
also sorry - after reflying it and knowing what will happen, I should have just follwed the order to turn for the bandit quicker... wingmen and flak absolutely point it out very well. The first time I felt for a minute that I had a better chance intercepting it above the convoy and turned for the ordered heading too late and not far enough... Now I realize how precise the triggers work and that I must always trust in them.

PS: flew the Oboe mission late last night for the first time (in VR) and couldn't sleep for 2 hours after it. Best thing ever, SO intense, and learned so much. I think the Photo showed that I missed by a few hundred yards though. I'll fly again tonight.
...And I just ordered "Beware!"🫡

Actually staying over the convoy could have worked too, because that’s where the bandit was headed. But if you stayed and then turned to intercept a little later, you could have missed easily.

but in real life you don’t want to wait for the enemy to reach the target 🙂

the oboe is pretty intense, isn’t it?:)
