Where can I find the jpg files for the maps used in the mission editor? I did find a user file contribution with F10 maps for Syria, Caucasus and PG but am looking for Nevada, Normandy, as well as other maps.

Do you mean the F10 map Map textures?

They seem to be in the RasterCharts folder of the respective terrain. Like for example:

\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\RasterCharts

those folders contain .dds files. I am trying to find maps I can use with the app, DCS moving map. It uses jpg files. The stock maps are too clutterred and I want to use the default F10 maps from DCS. When I take a map I found on the User Files archive which is a jpg and substitute it into DCS moving map, I get a registration error-they are different projections. I even tried correcting the jpg so it overlays exactly with the stock map in DCS moving map. I susbstituted this corrected map but still get stuff like this:

Here I am on the apron at Batumi but it shows me in the water. With the stock map I have this:

Although it places me correctly on the map, all the contour lines are too distracting.
