Copperhead Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 If you are using Win XP, make sure it is at least a Service Pack 2. I tried TrackIR 4 Pro + ver 4.1.036 driver on Win XP Service Pack 1 and it refused to calibrate properly. The axes would jump and cause the in-game view to jitter. So in my case it wasn't the problem of the TrackIR response curve sensitivity setting or background light interference. The issue is with the operating system.
Yskonyn Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Sometimes the problems are in the little overlooked details and because I haven't seen it mentioned here yet; make sure you select TrackClip Pro as the tracking method in the TrackIR software if you're using the clip. Otherwise the response is rather jerky and erratic. Oh and if you updated the software be sure to re-check all the settings. Mine erased all after the update (probably my own fault). Just to be sure. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-E, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz, Intel i7 9700K 5.0Ghz, Asus GTX1080 8GB, SoundBlaster AE-5, G15, Streamdeck, DSD Flight, TM Warthog, VirPil BRD, MFG Crosswind CAM5, TrackIR 5, KW-908 Jetseat, Win 10 64-bit ”Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing. Slayer Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I made a custom profile and used "smooth" acceleration for all the axis, Also you might want to remap all the default keys (I use Shift+F8,Shift+F9 etc) because the default keys conflict with game keys.
