Hi, how do you get a jet you spawn into to have all the controls etc set as you want? I can figure the radio presets, but say i wanted to spawn into an F14, on an ILS approach to the carrier, how can I set up the jet in the ME with all the TACAN, D/L, etc all pre tuned?

Thanks

I use this method … for single player only:

Thanks Rudel....I had a read through.....much of it is above my pay grade. But it did give me a clue as where to look, to see if the mission maker had done a similar script....he had not, but he had set some switched flag conditions which explain the issues I have also had in this post

So I have been able to solve that problem, many thanks!

🙂 basically, its the operation of the ccckpit's buttons, switches and knobs using a trigger, it is not hard to code, but researching the element's codes is a burden. This is an example of setting the cockpit of a Mirage F1 on one of my missions:

I could place all the actions on a single trigger, but here I opted to use several triggers so that the trigger's name acts as a comment for what the trigger function is. It takes longer but it is easier to understand the logic behind it.

Switched condition is the only way that we have to execute a trigger more than once, and yes it makes for a bit of convoluted logic ..  🙂

Best regards,
