Airway Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Anymore information about your software/hardware could maybe a liiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit useful.
Tez Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) First of all it's a good idea to check whether exe is really modified. Here is a free MS File Checksum Integrity Verifier utility (nice name for such a big, serious and important soft, really sounds like a government program). The correct MD5 checksum for DCS.exe is 878a817c3594a7188a1847ff1b617795 - If it's really modified, you can reinstall BS. - If it's constantly modified then... close all possible programs before installing and launching. - If nothing helps, you can follow the way of this solution (don't forget to deactivate BS before reinstalling Windows). Aha! I've found an open source alternative to a MS utility with a lo-o-ong name. http://www.ktechcomputing.com/hashcheck/ Edited February 10, 2009 by Tez [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] =653=Tez
Beluga Posted February 11, 2009 Author Posted February 11, 2009 Hi @ll, Im back now and tryed out the most solutions there are posted here in this Forum. 1. Step. The Checksum Checker shows the right Checksum for my DCS.EXE file. (878a817c3594a7188a1847ff1b617795) 2. Step. I scanned again for viruses, spywares/malware with A-Squared Free, Ad-Aware, Spybot, Combofix, Roguefix. The A-Squared Free found some Trojaner on my Computer. Roguefix found a virus . This crap has been deleted and i think im virus free now. 3. Step After restart my Black Shark, the annoying message appears again. QUESTION I have to reinstall Black Shark after the cleaning action and i have to deactivate Black Shark before ? Or just reinstall ? Pls give me a short "walk through" Regrettably, im unable to reinstall my Windows. It must be exist an other solution. Thx Beluga
Tez Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I've asked StarForce to look into this issue. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] =653=Tez
Beluga Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Hello Tez, and others My problem is not solved till today. There any answers from Starforce ? I tryed the "updatemodule.exe" solution also: -------------------------------------------------- Type in, command by command: "cd <folder with the game>" (in my example it will be "cd C:\Program Files\Company name\Product title") "updatemodule <name of the game's executable> <any name of executable, other from the original>" (my example: "updatemodule game.exe game2.exe") "copy <name of executable, other from the original> <name of the game's executable> /y" (my example: "copy game2.exe game.exe /y") "del <name of executable, other from the original>" (my example: "del game2.exe") "exit" ----------------------------------------------------- It doesn´t works. I would like a solution for this Problem. Maybe a list of incompatible software or a fixed DCS.EXE. I dont like to pay Money for non playeble software. Greetz Beluga
lapster49th Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I got a problem that looks like the same. When Black Shark start's up everytime i got a completly crash in the loading screen of the game. Then a window is poping up and says:"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information". That mistake a guess cames from the "DCS.exe" and seems to have some problems with ModName "protect.dll". I get the game just today and buy it from a Internetshop KochMedia as the DVD-Version 1.0.
ViperVJG73 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Hi lapster49th this is not a StarForce problem. Can you tell me please your system configuration?
