Hi. Finally got the Trackhat Opentrack (3.1 version) sensor v2 working, but what ever setting i tried the game reacts very jumpy, tried adjusting  smoothing and various Mapping options darkening the background. Face in Opentack App Cameraview seems to move smoothly, but in DCS it's just too jumpy to wotk with. Tips welcome.

ADDED; just tested IL2 with the same settings, works OK, so it must be some DCS setting specific thing?

Is there a special Hatrack OpenTrack version?
Latest OpenTrack version is 2023.1.0 on Github, but I don't think that's your issue.
With "face", you mean the Squid?

Well, i darkened my room, and it works reasonably well now ..

ADDED may 29: Opentrack v 3.2 software is out; and addressed the stray-light problems and it's far better now.

ADDED dec 2023: had a new windows installation and it did not work with other sim software than DCS.

Got it working there as i manually put the npclient and freetrackclient dll drivers in system32 and the 64 versions in sysWOW64 ....

PS Added a tip from James Allen about shaky-ness:

Quote:

Please try increasing rotating filter smoothing, you can do this in the 'filter' tab in TrackHat opentrack options,

please try increasing the first slider on the page to at least 1.5.

You should also set the deadzone, the second slider, to at least 0.03
