Caucasus Map???

I wanted to ask if you guys are running missions on the Caucasus map anymore?

I never seem to see missions running with anything except Syria. I tried the map but found it extremely boring and annoying. There are no terrain features and no where to hide. Sure it works great for the most modern planes with radars but older planes are seen from so far away with no where to go. I find mission on the Caucasus map that have all kind of mountains and terrain features between enemy bases to be the most dynamic and fun.

Anyway, I hope the Caucasus missions come back.

Not sure where you're located, if you're in EU you can try our server:
[ITA] Banshee | Krasnodar - PvE
Based on the Krasnodar Variable attack, this is a PvE server, you can spawn ground mission from radio menu if no others mission are active, or even A/A combat mission.

On this server, map settings is set to see everything, and there are label too.

It's our "entry level" server.

More challenging ( and feature rich ) are based on Persian Gulf and Syria.

Thanks but I have no interest in an entry level server with labels. The only reason I'm asking is because fighting Mirage F1s and Mig 21 Bis in an F-86 with absolutely no where to go to avoid long range detection and missiles is pretty annoying. The server runs a Caucasus missions and I go on a 7-8 & 0 run in my Saber. I go and fly out on the Syria Map and a confirmed enemy (by AWACS) locks up my Saber from 13 miles away and 15k feet above me and sends a radar missile my way and there is literally no where to go. I can see the missile, the trail and it closing, but with no chaff and flat land for as far as the eyes can see, you're pretty screwed.

Most servers use Caucasus. The biggest DCS server Growling Sidewinder and Enigma with over 60 players are on those maps. Make sure to be on the latest Steam/Standalone open beta version to be able to join them.
