tmansteve Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 After landing with F18, we refuel for next leg of mission. Everything on the carrier goes smoothly until I am airborne. The plane will not trim and goes into a vertical climb. I have to slow down to 90knots and the nose drops. As soon as I start to speed up, the plane once again goes i to vertical climb. I have to push my joystick full forward and still it is to difficult. Not sure if I should do a repair after landing or is it the server? If we do not land on carrier, everythings OK. Strange

tmansteve Posted May 21, 2023 Author Posted May 21, 2023 Not sure when but maybe my brother has a track after our multiplay or we can save one when we hook up again. Cheers
rob10 Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Did you remember to set your flaps to 1/2 or full before you took off again? And reset the trim.
tmansteve Posted May 22, 2023 Author Posted May 22, 2023 Hi rob I don't think it's that but I'm sure I always go through all of that as nature. I will look into what you have said but I hadn't noticed it this bad before. Also, I couldn't activate Baro Hold for some reason. I have to make the track smaller as it's over 50mb.
Moxica Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Happens to me as well on occations. There is some detail I'm doing wrong. Has to do with flaps or trim setting. -Because I've fumbled with those more or less randomly, and sometimes have success. But in spite of seeing it once, I can not remember the correct settings, and those two details are kind of hard to find. tmansteve Posted May 23, 2023 Author Posted May 23, 2023 Im going to create a smaller mission including all the elements and see what happens. I will look at trim reset but always use half flaps. Will update at some stage and if it happens, I will upload the track as this one is way too big even after zipping. Cheers
