Hello, im currently building an flight school course in the editor.

 

For this i need to send messages to a specific player and not to everyone...how do i do this? For example, if someone reaches an area i want that he gets something like: "Gratulations, now proceed to the next waypoint"

 

if i make an trigger with player enters area + message, do all players get the message than?

As far as I know, you can only define to which side the message belongs, but not direct it to a single player, but I maybe wrong.

 

To define that only the blue side should read the message, you have to choose "Front coalation" in the trigger. So only the sides the trigger activating player belongs to, gets the message.

Try do it this:

 

Set all choppers which you want to fly.

Then add every them unique pilot name. Example Peter and Paul.

Then add zone and call it example "First".

Add trigger "unit in zone", choose chopper name, example Peter and set "first" zone.

Add message.

 

I think it should work now. I didn't test it in Multiplayer cos I can't now, but try this. :)

Messages are very temperamental in MP. They seem to only get sent to the host afaik.

i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music.

Just another question: Can i somehow make object respawn? If someone destroys a static object, than it should respawn in 30 seconds

Boberro has it right, theoretically, but madtommy is also correct in that they're tempermental, so trying to get them all working is like banging your head off a wall. Supposedly the patch will fix the multiplayer trigger issues.
