Jazz_82 Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Hi everyone, I have a problem with model viewer 2, it doesn't open... I've already tried cleaning, two repairs, installed an update, deleted the edModelViewer2 folder, in short, I've done everything I've found in the various discussions... nothing to do, MW2 doesn't want to open up. I've never needed it so far, so I've never started it, but now I'd like to create liveries and I need it. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Jazz_82 Posted June 10, 2023 Author Posted June 10, 2023 Yes, I tried that too. The last thing left for me to do is reinstall everything. I run the program, i see it in active windows processes but there is no interface, no window [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Flappie Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 See if you can find a folder named "edModelViewer..." in "C:\Users\your_login\AppData\Local\Temp" and delete it. ---
Flappie Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Hey @Jazz_82. Is this the error you're getting? I have this when starting the model viewer from the "bin-mt" folder. No such issue when starting the one from the "bin" folder. Have you tried? ---

Flappie Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 If you haven't solved your problem yet, run the two .exe files from ".\DCS World...\distr\". One of them might show you an error because it's already installed (that's OK). The other one should not show any error. ---

I tried as you suggested but unfortunately it was not successful [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Flappie Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Try adding DCS main folder as an exception in your antivirus. ---

I'd say I give up, now it's not essential and maybe one day I'll have the desire to reinstall DCS and maybe it will work Thanks anyway for your support [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
