Defueling in mission does not reduce weight

On the Enigma server I noticed that at around 700 m asl, with Hot-3, 35 % fuel and 85 torque you will not exceed 20 m agl. You are almost at power limit, as you cant aplly more than 90 torque at take off. In SP with the same load out set in mission editor and at the same weather conditions you have 200 m/m climb rate. With the said load out plus a recon group, you can't even get out of ground effect in the vertical. Landing with these conditions will almost always lead into a settle with power state and cause crashes. The only way to recreate the performance of the server in SP is by adding 200 kg internal cargo in ME. After some further testing I came to the conclusion, that defueling in the mission does not reduce weight, while setting it in ME does. Here is a video to demonstrate. Regard the performance differences when fuel is set in ME

Awesome. On a side note, it is the same for refueling in mission.

Checked fuel consumption. That does affect weight. If the figures are correct is beyond my scope and will of testing 😅

P.S. nice to see, that your UH-60 adventure did drive you to Polychop. 😉

Patch has applied thge changes, but defueling in mission does not reduce the same amount of weight, as setting fuel in ME. See this video.

Test: Pad location 680 m asl, 24 ° C

- start mission with 4 x HOT 3 and 100 % fuel

- apply max torque available (85)

- Heli climbs to 4 ft agl

- reduce fuel to 50 % via ground crew

- apply max torque available (85)

- Heli climbs to 13 ft agl

- reduce fuel to 50 % via ME

- apply max torque available (85)

- Heli climbs to with 100 m/m out of ground effect
