Rudel_chw Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 I'm re-learning the Gazelle after many years of having her on the hangar and I'm experiencing problems during the cold start .. all the documents that I've seen say that during the start the two rpm needles should overimpose one another starting from about 30,000 turbine rpm and continue upwards together. However, I get this at 34,000 rpm: then at 39,000 I have this: Only at the top end of the range, 42,000 rpm do both needles superimpose each other: Is it a bug? or maybe my interpretation of the Cold Start procedure is wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me, and best regards to all, Eduardo 2 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
gulredrel Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Thanks rudel, the same thing also crossed my mind some days ago. This threads can be merged, I guess. I also find the idle lamp strange. Do you also know under which circumstances the red bloc light should be illuminated? 1

Hi, Yes, both threads should be merged as they show the same issue, sorry that I didn't saw your thread, before posting I did a search for "Cold Start" and it didn't show up. @Polychop Simulations can you please merge the threads? 4 hours ago, gulredrel said: Do you also know under which circumstances the red bloc light should be illuminated? I believe that it illuminates when the engine has started but the fuel flow lever is not yet at its full forward position. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
