Veratas Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 All, I am having some very odd crashes in DCS. It is the dreaded ACCESS_VIOALATION error. I am attaching crash debugs, long version to this thread. This crash happens regardless of state. I can leave it at the main DCS screen and it will crash in a few seconds to a minute or two. I have gone so far as to rebuild my system from scratch with just DCS installed and latest greatest everything. I have tried the following. 1. Decrease Graphics card over clock to NVIDIA reference clock. 2. No CPU over-clocking 3. Complete system rebuild and first and only program installed save drivees is DCS 4. Tried different memory in the system all DDR5 but different capacities and manufacturers. 5. Tried OpenBeta and stable 6. Turned of UAC and changed DEP to only be DCS 7. Tried on multiple NVME, WD Black and Samsung 990 8. Tried two different motherboards, different problem but still a data point. 9. In anticipation of thinking it has to be hardware have run multiple torture tests to get CPU/RAM to fail a. y-cruncher, prime95 b. memtest86, memtest64+ 10. Played with mods and played without mods Hardware is as follows. Intel I9-13900KS MSI Z790 MEG Motherboard Kingston Fury Beast 6000MT Samsung 990 PRO 2TB All of this to add the final point. It is stable and I mean rock stable under Multi-thread. If I run standard it crashes without fail. I am attaching debugs. If anyone has an idea let me know. I am out. I am not able to attach a track file because I can not even get to the point of starting a mission in ST. Missions seem to run fine in MT. I have combed this page for days and nothing it suggests seems to help. I am including 2 crash logs....1 with MODS and 1 without MODS. I am not sure it makes a lot of difference but wanted to put this up there. Any help with this mystery would be greatly appreciated. dcs.log-20230620-002858-withMODS.zip dcs.log-20230620-020305-withoutMODS.zip
