1) how do I keep from constantly having to keep my bindings from evaporating or getting changed?

2) how do I access 114 L missles. all i ever see on the rearming page is the K type?

You should be seeing some preconfigured loadouts in the drop-down list that include them, but you should also be able to right click on the pylon and select them that way.

Are you seeing the option to add or remove the Robbie tank in the center “pylon” selection?

Are you running DCS on Open Beta? Only with OB you can already use the 114L.

If you are on DCS stable you have to wait until stable version gets updatet.

There is absolutely no reason to use stable, update to open beta and enjoy

I'll give it a try, knew it was out there, but didn't think to install that version. Thanks!

Yeah for newcomer it might not be "super clear" but there is 3 rules in DCS;

1 - Dont use the Steam version, for the sake of simplicity.

2 - Use OpenBeta only, it is the most up-to-date version with a "beta" tag so if things goes south, Dev have some sort of excuse.

3 - Buy Pre-Purchase and complaim about release.

thanks for the reply . im using stable

You can run Open Beta release on the Stable version? Whenever I tried it you can't even see the OB modules if you're on Stable.

I believe there is no stable version, yet. If you have it installed I'll bet it's the OB version.

I dont really get what the artist is trying to express but there are two versions of DCS to download: Stable and OpenBeta! OpenBeta gets new stuff first but has to deal more with unfinished work. Stable is designed to be as bugfree as possible and reasonable but "lags behind" with content. You can even have both installed at the same time.

When you try to access stuff from the OB you´ll end up quite disapointed...

No Ah-64 stable at that link probably because there isn't one.

Arn't we talking about open beta MODULES, not DCS itself? If you use DCS stable you will not even be able to access an open-beta module.

Seems there is some confusion brought into this thread with the latest comments.

Can the pilot change from K to L missiles. I cant seem to find anything on that??

I can load both types onto the racks but cant find how to do it from Pilot seat.

Makes sense when there are close targets, to use K

the switchin is part of the cp/g workload.

If you fly the bird you can give George the command to swich via controlswitch left long.

But if im not mistaken, you can switch in the Weapon page from both seats, but im not completly sure.

Actually until FCR or data link is functional pilot can only choose kilo hellfires. So plt can not choose lima’s from weapon page for now. Later he should be able as well.

The actual lima hellfire implementation requires data for the hellfire from TADS which can only be operated by the cpg. So actually only cpg can choose them from weapon page.

You can also order George AI as gunner tu use lima‘s
