hyperlynx256 Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 I've been persistently attempting to get DCS to run smoothly on my Quest 2 once more. While it generally performs well, recently it has started freezing and crashing after just a few minutes. here's the specs Ryzen 9 3900x 64gb ddr 4 3200 gskill rtx3060 non ti version Dcs is on a m.2 drive Samsung pro something lol I'd have to look. i have attached the latest log files for reference. I'm running medium settings. Now i have repaired and reinstalled as well but still no joy if someone can point me in the right direction i can take it from there.. dcs.log-20230622-200549.zip dcs.log
Flappie Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Hi. Your log bears the "DX device removed. Reason: 0x887A0006" stigmata. It means DCS cannot reach the GPU when it needs it. This issue can be caused by different things: GPU overclocking External software such as Aorus Graphics Engine, ASUS GPU Tweak, MSI Afterburner, MSI Center SDK, Corsair iCue... do you have any of these? Unadapted Windows power plan (try and set it to the max) Dead GPU Dead or tired PSU 1 ---
hyperlynx256 Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 I'm looking for those to thought id try another aircraft but nope still the same. i had afterburner running but its not running but going to uninstall. might run a ddu on the RTX card and reinstall that and then update it thanks
hyperlynx256 Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 Ya I reset my graphics settings and that seems to have fixed it 1
Flappie Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Great. Thanks for your feedback. I'll add it to my list of possible solutions. ---
hyperlynx256 Posted June 24, 2023 Author Posted June 24, 2023 Oh you’re welcome I did reset and removed the tray tool. And added openxr and it seems to have corrected it 1
