Do you know the location? Where he's starting up from?... The airbase/farp that's what I want to find out.

This question got me thinking, with DCS being a stickler for modelling things correctly, like stars, moon and sun, I wondered if they did the same with GPS. If you look at minute 8.53 in the vid you see the GPS satellites that it can see on the TSD whilst aligning, so I looked them up on Live World Map of Satellite Positions - In-The-Sky.org but I don't think they have modelled this. I can find:

Satellite 01 - over Belgrade

Satellite 07 - over South Atlantic (around South Georgia region)

Satellite 20 - over South Pacific (West of Chile)

Satellite 09 - over South Atlantic (East of Sao Paulo, around half way to Africa)

Satellite 11 - could not find this.

So the ones I could find are not bunched together, so I'm guessing ED haven't gone to that level of detail. Would have been really cool if they had though!!
