Hi all,
after many years I am still not able to open the ModelViewer. It is running in the background when I check with taskmanger but isn't showing up on my screen. I researched a long time and many fixes for others didn't work.

I do have a c:\user\saved games folder, but it's empty.

I changed the standard saved games folder (not on c:\ drive anymore) and everything is working fine with dcs. I think it maybe something with directories and paths.

There are no logs created.
Regards

From task manager, right click on Model Viewer task and try to do Maximize ( or Minimize and then Maximize/bring to front several time )

You can also try to press ALT + Enter with the model viewer selected ( highlighted in the task bar ) even if you're not seeing it on monitors.

Thees normally helps to reset wired position that may have ( maybe is running but "outside" your monitor view.
Also check if it's on MFD or other external monitor that you may have.

The process is running in the background as "DCS" (not as an application), without the option to open it to "ModelViewer2:0"

Uh, I see...it's not starting at all, it's hang at some point.
The only test that remain to do is try to run as Administrator ( normally I don't like this solution ans should not be used TBH, but just give it a try )
Right click on the icon, and select Run as Administrator.
Last things, you have some antivirus installed on that machine? Try to temporally disable Antivirus and start the ModelViewer.
