Fingerlifts / Button

NoPro

Recommended Posts

I’m about to preorder the F15EX grip with the Orion2 base. Does anyone of you know if the fingerlifts can work as button? I mean, related to the Strike eagle module where you lift the fingerlift to get the JFS going on that respective engine. Haven’t found anything on winwings product page or similar if they can be used as a button press.

thanks in advance

on the orion/2 throttle i believe there is a button for the idle stops, but i dont have one, there is no button on the finger lifts its just a mechanical lift

As already stated, the fingerlifts itself are just mechanical, but the orion 2 has „hidden“ buttons on the axis positions at off (full aft) and idle. You can just assign those buttons to the respective functions in the DCS control setup.

How that goes along with the F-15E controls, I don‘t know. Maybe assign the idle position button to JFS start? I simply don‘t know the startup procedure for the F-15E.

Screenshot of the respective F-15E controls menu would help.

There are two "hidden" buttons on the left throttle handles of the F-15E/EX grips.  #50 & 56 that could be mapped to the fingerlifts.  I use the mappable throttle positions as engine idle and engine cut-off.
