CypherBlue Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Hello DCS Community and Razbam team, I've encountered an issue with the F-15E from Razbam after the most recent update and I'm hoping for some assistance. The problem seems to be specific to the left engine during cold starts. Here's what's happening: After successfully initiating the right engine, I start the left engine. However, as soon as I try to move the Left Throttle Axis beyond the idle detent, the throttle in-game refuses to correspond accordingly, even though my physical Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle has moved past the idle detent. This strange behavior doesn't occur prior to engine start - both throttle axes move correctly as can be observed in the attached track file. I've tried this both in local missions and on multiplayer servers, with the same issue persisting. To rule out hardware problems, I've recalibrated my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle and closely monitored the axis behavior, but the issue seems to be exclusive to the aircraft's left engine startup procedure. The main problem here is that I can't move the left throttle to idle or above the detent to match the right engine throttle. It auto-shifts past the detent to the off position, preventing me from starting the engine. Even when I manage to start the engine by keeping the throttle position higher, as soon as I attempt to sync it with the right engine throttle, it moves to the off position and shuts down the left engine. It's worth noting that this issue is nonexistent when performing a hot start. Any advice or possible solutions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. Best, CypherBlue ColdStartleftThrottleIssue.trk
MAXsenna Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 @CypherBlueHi, have you bound the cutooff/idle bindings correctly for your Warthog?I have noe issues with mine. On your Warthog, when you bring the throttles back to cutoff from idle. They press a switch. Seems you have bound your right lever, but not your left. Jump in the Eagle in the same mission. Open the control setrings. Bring your right one forward, then all the way back to cutoff, and see what mapping it shows. The left one needs to be mapped the same. I'm not at my computer so I can't provide a screenshot.Cheers! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
CypherBlue Posted July 27, 2023 Author Posted July 27, 2023 @MAXsenna Yes they are bound correctly. Adding a screenshot for reference. This is not the issue. If it was during hot starts I would not have been able to shut both engines down with only one detent mapped.null
