Soupdragon Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Hello collective wisdom… TG MIP arrived today (bar the UFC) and I thought I’d plug it in and get going. Assembly and installation a breeze via SAP. Two issues at this early point… 1. MPCD bindings are random. Buttons on MPCD A and B both seem bound to MPCD C. It’s not particularly apparent in the SAP manual what I am doing wrong. Are bindings set in SAP or in DCS settings pages? 2. MPCD screens don’t work in VR mode? I’d be grateful for a steer please… thanks!

Looking forward to the mixed reality release whenever it comes… Still a bit befuddled by the key bindings. I’m sure I’ve seen a video somewhere where DCS just picked them up from SAP but looks like I shall have to allocate them manually.
speed-of-heat Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 That's what I did, takes a while, I do all of mine via joypro... Soupdragon Posted July 28, 2023 Author Posted July 28, 2023 So the screens are out of whack with the buttons. How on earth did I do that?

Sounds like you have then all set to MFD1-C. In SIMAPPRO when you pick each of the MFD's on the right side middle assign each of them to: MFD1-L, MFD1-C or MFD1-R. Change them out and you should have 3 separate controller columns in the DCS bindings that you can bind individually. 1

Bizarrely the issue is fixed and the only thing I have done differently is connected the devices direct to the motherboard and that shouldn’t make a difference whatsoever… 1

Was it a powered hub you had it in originally? Not sure why not having enough power would cause the symptoms you were seeing though.
GottHold Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 you could use my template for MFDs in joypro if you would want to map out all mfds for all planes at once Have a nice day!
-HINDSIGHT- Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 when any of you start the SIMAPP Pro then start DCS do any of you get a half green screen across any of your MFD's. I get a green square that blocks half my bottom MFD and 2 small corners in my left bottom right, and right bottom left MFD's.
rob10 Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 Shouldn't quite cause the pattern you're seeing, but double check that you don't have the option to turn screen green for ID purposes left on in SIMAPPRO.

-HINDSIGHT- Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 working on Pictures but I think I found issue. Ok I think I found the problem. Video works great its my simapp pro software adds something to my lua file. When I load back in my DCS resolution changes from 1152x2160 to 1152x2680 or something weird like that. I think it is adding the MFD's resolution to my 2160. I So I will post in the Winwing MIP page to see if anyone is running tripple screens with the WInwing MIP to see how they got around this.
