pr3sidentspence Posted July 29, 2023 Share Posted July 29, 2023 (edited) One of my MFDs had two buttons (20 and 7) stop working. Thrustmaster was great about it and sent me a replacement. I still have, and use, the old one but I have to use a modifier to gain access to the GAIN and SYM buttons I sacrificed for 7 & 20. Has anyone ever fixed non-working buttons? I'm not bad (okay, I'm not hopeless) with a soldering iron, is there a way I could remap some of the BRT/CONT/SYMB/GAIN keys so that I could recover the use of the multifunction buttons? pr3sidentspence Posted July 31, 2023 Author Share Posted July 31, 2023 So, I just took the plunge and was able to solder wires from the display control rocker pads to my non-working MFbuttons. This caused some weird things with unrelated buttons also getting pressed, but (by luck, I think) there was a unique button fired for every MFB from 1-20.
