What happens to downloaded files if an update download is cancelled before completion? Are they wiped?

I have a very slow internet connection. It sucks, but that's life... see the attached image.

Sometimes I've had to cancel downloading an update before it has completed and I was wondering what happens to the files that have already been downloaded. Do they get deleted or do they get kept?

I think it would be nice to have a pause option so that long downloads can be recommenced. Is that possible?

Hi. Yes, they are kept in a temporary folder called "_downloads" at the root of your DCS installation, even if you click "Cancel".

The "Cancel" button already acts as a pause mode.
