GBU question

Hi..... I cannot get any GBU to glide onto the laser.

Ive got it all set up correctly.....as witnessed by the weapons pacs page....it drops but thats it...TPOD on point track and tgt degisnated....???

Dumb question maybe: do you have your laser turned on from the wso seat? Altitude too high?

Did you set the laser code on the TPOD?

Can you post a track file of this happening? As other replies have alluded to, there are a few things that can lead to this.

I thought the laser code is always set to 688 or something like that....I have never set the code on the 15E !!!

The Laser is on as witnesses by the flashing black "L" on the TPOD....and yes I am ubelow 20000 feet.

The bombs are set to 1688 by default but the pod seems to be on 1111 by default, so you have to change that.

People...thank you so much for all your solid info...Indeed it was the laser code on the TPOD which needed to be reset to 1688...

I just checked it out and im delighted,blew the <profanity> out of a nuclear powerplant with one of those mofo GBU-24 !!!

I would suggest getting in the habit of checking the laser code in the kneeboard, since if playing multiplayer or on missions created by others they might have changed the default code for the bombs.
