No matter what I do I am receiving from JTAC no clearance to shoot the T-55, I circulating the target and ask clearance from 280, 270, 260, 250,...whatever...get no clearance.....very frustating...what I am doing wrong? where do i have to ask permission from?

I’m on mission 7 of this campaign and had those troubles a couple of times as well. What I was doing wrong was asking for clearance before I reached the IP position. After I made sure that I was at the correct position before pressing space bar to get clearance all has worked well for me. Hope this may help a bit, good luck, Im really enjoying the campaign.

Yes Papa1 is correct, you must be at the IP and on the correct heading (there is a fair bit of tolereance allowed) to be cleared hot.

I was just playing this mission last night and

Spoiler

had an engine failure when returning home.  It happened when I was maybe 5-10 minutes out from landing.  Everything went perfectly on the mission and I took no hits or fire.  I have been flying the Hog for a long time and have never had an engine randomly quit on me.  It left me scratching my head after I landed on one engine.  Engine air restart procedures did not work.  I was wondering if this was a trigger in the mission.  Otherwise I don't know why the engine failed.  Had plenty of fuel and was just descending out of Angels 15ish when it quit on me around Angels 8 or 10.

Nope not planned in by me.  Do you have random failures enabled in your options?

Ooh, I didn't even realize there was a setting for that, but no.  I checked and it is not selected.  Oh well.  I made it back to base safely 🙂

Hmm that's interesting then, maybe you turned off a switch by accident or something, I've done that before with fuel pumps and the like.
