Max_Q Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Up to recently my x-56 HOTAS has performed without problems. I'm not sure if it was a computer update but now if i plug it in, things go wonky. It's like the left alt button is on all the time, after a few minutes the keyboard stops working, some of the hotas buttons don't work... If anyone has suggestions i'd appreciate it.
THERION Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Hi 1. Make sure your default X56 profile is clean (empty). 2. Always use the same USB port. WIN sometimes likes to mess with the ports, hence your device goes wonky. 3. Test your device under WIN. If it works correctly there, you should be fine in DCS. 4. Check your device profile and settings in DCS. Maybe you have some errors in the key bindings? 5. If possible, use a powered USB hub. Cheerio
Max_Q Posted August 13, 2023 Author Posted August 13, 2023 thanks, how do i check it under WIN. I'll clear out the profile and reconnect the powered usb
