Up to recently my x-56 HOTAS has performed without problems. I'm not sure if it was a computer update but now if i plug it in, things go wonky. It's like the left alt button is on all the time, after a few minutes the keyboard stops working, some of the hotas buttons don't work... If anyone has suggestions i'd appreciate it.

Hi

1. Make sure your default X56 profile is clean (empty).

2. Always use the same USB port. WIN sometimes likes to mess with the ports, hence your device goes wonky.

3. Test your device under WIN. If it works correctly there, you should be fine in DCS.

4. Check your device profile and settings in DCS. Maybe you have some errors in the key bindings?

5. If possible, use a powered USB hub.

Go Control Panel / Devices and Printers / select your X-56 / right click / Game Controller Settings / pick your X-56 out of the list / Properties

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
