tflash Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I find it frustrating when flying to an airbase with ILS navigation in the F-15, it often lands me at a complete unrealistic angle towards the airfield for the final leg. I sometimes have 1 mile left for a steep turn to the right or left, what makes ILS landing at night a complete joke. Is this a known bug? I do not seem to have this in ruski birds? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Got to agree with you on this. What I do , when I have the field in site, is My own ILS approach. Civilian but not much different than military. Fly over beacon, do a left hand tear drop(shape) and pick up the ILS. This should give you a nice approach. Only it's all your flying. Lockon Messed this one up as well as the carrier ILS approach. It's ok for a straight in. I bet it's on the bug list for 1.13:).
