Do I still need the '--force_enable_VR' & '--force_OpenXR' switches?

Simply put, do I still need the --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR switches for the desktop shortcut or can I do without them?

I think the "offical" answer would be no (you don't need them). However after the last update i found the sim was starting in 2D mode at times rather than VR. I added back the --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR switches and now it boots in VR again all the time. Better safe than sorry.
