Clock & UFC Clock Different

In the Sinai map, the eagle's clock always read an hour and 5 minutes ahead of that shown on the UFC timing. Anyone else notices this?

We don't have any maps that are Zulu+1.

I don't know the exact boundaries of the upcoming Kola Peninsula map, but it's not impossible that part of it covers Zulu +1 (the vast majority of the peninsula is not, however).

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

The Norway and Sweden parts of the Kola map will certainly be UTC +1 (when DST is not in effect)

None of that is relevant until the Kola map is released and OP is flying the Mudhen on the Kola map.

Sinai is UTC+2 (+3 in summer).

Futureproofing. 🙂

Futureproofing is having the UFC clock match the timezone of the map that it's in.

The lack of logic in this thread is astounding.

That’s what I meant - instead of UFC time showing 2 or 3 hours behind the plane’s clock, it shows only just 1 hour (and 3 mins I think) behind the clock.

Anyone can help verify this?

So is the lack of a sense of humour... or did the little smiley face not give you any contextual clues at all?

I only have the free theaters (Caucasus and Marianas), so I didn't check on them. The Mudhen is correctly showing the difference between Zulu and local times in the Caucasus, though I couldn't check the other maps.

What Airfield are you on?

Sitting at Wadi al Jandali (right next to Cairo) I get 2 hrs difference. I have 10.00hrs analog time and 08.00hrs UFC time. And here is what I thnk happens:

- Analog clock shows local time

- UFC clock shows GMT, and currently GMT is the same as BST

- BST is 1 hrs ahead of UTC <- what we expect it to be

In that case 10/ 08 would be correct.

The 5 mins you get are because the UFC clock only starts ticking once the right engine is up and running, so whatever minutes difference you have is the time you needed to start your engine.

I tried a few different airbases in Sinai map with sim time loaded as 7.30am or so (Dec month). The analog clock shows that correctly, but the UFC clock strangely always shows an hour behind.

Didn't know the UFC time only starts counting after engine start. Shouldn't it be in sync with the real time, even in the real jet?
