Moxica Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 The F15 cockpit has a slight microstutter/jitter that can be ignored. But when tracked by radar it gets close to uncontrollable. One example is when tracked/fired upon by the "Moskva" Cruiser. Not the right time to have graphic problems. For me it works very well but I have different set. See this, the performance patch is planned sooner or later: Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro

I not referring to your words, but the following from Razbam: "We are working on an option for lower end GPUs/VRAM to increase performance." Timghetta Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 It really depends on a GPU's VRAM, if the GPU doesn't have enough VRAM then it would have to use PCIe lanes and system RAM. Who controls the RAM? Yes the CPU. Right now with DCS getting these intensive simulated cockpits, more detailed scenery, now including wingman, other aircraft, scenery assets, and of course the enemy, software is out pacing hardware. Now factor the F-15E's 2 cockpit heavier GPU use, and very complex Radar using the CPU, with the back and forth through the CPU's memory manager it can bottle neck/stutter from time to time. I wouldn't call your system low end, but in the simulated world, it's hitting it's limits. From what I am seeing is DCS is using around 16GB in VRAM. This is why so many people are asking for solutions such as DLSS and Vulkan. So for those who don't want to turn down the Texture setting, we might have a solution, with very little image loss, again it still needs more testing and work. 2 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh

In a (DCS) world of placebo and snake oil solutions, this was very useful and straight forward. I appreciate it a lot. Now I need to rub out the moolah for a 4090 with 24GB VRAM -I'll report back.
