Helios F-15E Version 1.0.3 Out Now

IMORTANT NOTE- you MUST have Helios version 1.6.606 or higher AND you must download and install the latest F-15E plugin to go along with it!

Thanks for this, looks really good, except I can't understand why it displays on the main screen. How do I get it on the second?

@MAXsenna Go to the profile menu, then hit “reset monitors”, use the drop downs to put the info from monitor 1 on to  Monitor 2(or whichever your helios monitor is). Did you make sure to download the new helios version AND the f-15 plugin too? The profile won’t work without them. The plugin system is a new change taking place for helios. Let me know if you have issues. I’m happy to assist, on here or Discord. Here in a couple days I’m releasing a new version, to complete a few functions, a couple bugs, and minor additions. I will let everyone know when it comes out the best I can. It should be the only revision I do unless RB adds more features and functions that need addressed.

I didn’t notice it either. A member on discord noticed that when the low fuel warning came on that the Nuclear Warning indicator showed in the wso seat lol The whole bottom row of bindings were off by one. All good now though

*** Just an FYI for anyone that runs into it. For the Terrain Following Radar Controls- TFR Couple Switch, Flyup Switch and Switch Cover. The output bindings from Helios to DCS do not function at this time as RazBam changed the  Device ID numbers during its implementation. These will be fixed in the next Helios Release with an updated interface.***

MAdkreator, hi. i have used f15e plugin succesfully for a while now, but since last helios update I had a problem and it gave some unexpected errors.. i had to roll back to previous verison of helios.

@SparrowHawk003I should add that helios1.6.603 did have a fix for the WSO caution panel, the indicator bindings were off by one. In version 1.0.2 of the f-15 profile it is fixed. If you had v1.01 and updated to helios 1.6.603 then there still shouldn’t have been any real errors, but the WSO caution panel might act funny. Version1.0.2 of the profile should work in either helios version. Another user updated to the new helios version and kept 1.01 of the profile because he had lots of mods to it he didn’t want to re-do so he just dug through the editor and deleted the WSO caution panel and dragged the new on from the toolbox into the profile. Its the same fix either way. When I built the profile I used every item Bluefin made in the helios toolbox to make it more efficient. There shouldn’t be anything different with the plugin…. It may have bugged out on you… you might just go to add/remove programs and delete the f-15e plugin.. the to documents/helios/profiles and delete the f15 profile and backups.. then 1:update helios to the newest version 2:re-install the f-15e plugin 3: install / reinstall the profile v1.0.2, in that order. If there is something wrong with helios itself, then CZ’s discord will be the best place to communicate. Over there we can get the helios developer involved if need be

*** New Helios release soon. Along with it the fixes for the TFR switches and WSO Flare Jettison switch in the profile. But you MUST download the new F-15e plugin after updating Helios for the changes to take effect. ***

Reverting back to Helios 1.6.604 and that version of the plugin should work until we get it handled

Now that the new Helios release is out, over on GitHub is version 1.0.3 of the profile. This should fix all of the UFC woes. Update Helios, Update the F-15e plugin, then download and install ver 1.0.3 and it should be good. If you have a modified profile and don’t want to install a new profile version, message me and I will show you how to fix your existing one.

Everyone using Helios and my f-15 profile. In the newest version of Helios, releasing soon (1.6.608) the f-15e plugin will no longer be required. It has been integrated into Helios.

IMPORTANT- The new version will still work fine if you keep the plugin installed, BUT if you want to uninstall the plugin PLEASE uninstall it BEFORE updating to Helios 1.6.608! If you update first, then uninstall the plugin, it will delete all of the f-15 items from Helios and you will have to re-install 1.6.608 again.
