Kantaim Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 (edited) Just wondering if any other F-14 Multi-crew players have experienced this: my friend and I will be flying, and suddenly, targets don't show up on the TID from the plane's radar. We still get the targets on datalink, but the RIO is getting no signals on the TID or DDD from the AWG-9. Edited August 28, 2023 by Kantaim

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Both pilot and RIO only get the datalink signals, and I'm sure the targets are at the right altitude and the radar elevation is correct as we are flying at the same altitude with the radar elevation level.

Then that's no desync as both crewmembers see the same. There's something else wrong then. Without a track file it's near impossible to fgure out what though, but I guess it's probably just some wrong radar setting. Kantaim Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 I thought so too initially, but I don't think it is the case. Tried switching between TWS and RWS. Checked the radar elevation values on the side of the TID. Targets are at distance, so they definitely fall within the elevation values on the side of the TID. We also have an suspicion that whenever the RIO (who is not hosting the game) enters the F10 map, and comes back out, that there is a higher chance of this issue popping up. Respawning also seems to have some kind of impact. Our current work around, is to have the RIO back out to spectators and pop back in.

Kantaim Posted August 29, 2023 Author Posted August 29, 2023 My RIO says it is on LOL. We haven't had time to play since the last time it happened, but I will return with an update when we do.
Ahogephilia Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 (edited) I have experienced this. When multi-crewing, nothing works in RIO seat control and radar, but when I take over new F-14 and solo RIO, it works fine. I wiped out F-14 and input config folder and reinstall/set-up.After that, it work normal. Edited August 31, 2023 by Ahogephilia
