Any way to assign Jester controls to an analog stick?

So I have a Warthog with the analog stick mod as was wondering if there was any way to use this to control Jester?

As far as I can see you can only assign to an 8-way hat and as the Tomcat doesnt have MFDs in the front this analog stick is going to waste

You can use TARGET or some joy2key software that will translate your axis movements to key presses, which can then be bound to the Jester menu. I doubt it will be good or comfortable to use though.
