KoleTang Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 I am trying to figure out how to set my cockpit up at mission start. So I picked the battery switch to try. I am trying to set the battery switch to on at the mission start with the X: COCKPIT PERFORM CLICKABLE ACTION trigger action. I have only been successful at setting it to ORIDE. With: COCKPIT DEVICE: 3 COMMAND: 3027 VALUE: 0 How can I set the switch to ON?
Solution Rudel_chw Posted September 5, 2023 Solution Posted September 5, 2023 Try it with command 3001, value 1. (Value 0 turn it OFF, and value -1 switches to ORIDE). test.miz 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
KoleTang Posted September 6, 2023 Author Posted September 6, 2023 Thanks @Rudel_chw, I tried that, but I was using a mission start event versus no event. It works with no event but not with a mission start event. Thanks for including an example. I am good to go now. Any idea why it does not work on mission start? Thanks again

At mission start your pilot has not yet spawn into the aircraft, so you cant operate its switches. On mission start place triggers that activate groups, load scripts, terrain destruction triggers, etc .. the only ones you can’t use at mission start are cockpit triggers. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
