bonesvf103 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I've noticed on random occasion that if you jump in the backseat and give a command to Iceman, when you go back to the front seat and give a command to Jester, it will not be carried out and you will get a message "You are in Jester's seat!" even though you are in the front seat. Then if you go to the RIO seat and give an Iceman command it will say, "You are in Iceman's seat!" Anyone else get this phenomenon? v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. But I have confused Jester by telling him to shut up, and then make him talk again. I guess something's out of sync. The Jester commands work differently from other VAICOM commands. bonesvf103 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 In the same mission, I noticed sometimes if I put a map marker on the F10 map then tell Jester, "Map marker X to fixed point," for example, he doesn't do it. BUt if I do the same thing on another mission, it will probably work. So do you think there is a possibility that it depends on how the mission was written/setup where I get this Icemma/Jester anomaly or the map marker one? v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. Is this single or multiplayer? Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
bonesvf103 Posted September 12, 2023 Author Posted September 12, 2023 This particular one is MP v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. I would have 80 pounds of flesh to eat and a pair of glasses to start a fire." --F/A-18 Hornet pilot
MAXsenna Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 This particular one is MP v6, boNesI see. Well there have been reports of Jester not working in MP. But as you described it, it did initially work. It seems it somehow got de-synced. Do you have Discord? The devs are more inclined to read bug reports there. There's an F-14 channel as well. I'll post a link there to this post now.Cheers! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
PeneCruz Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 With the desynchronisation, If you disable AIRIO in Vaicom and you select a command via the Jester wheel does it still happen? Sounds like general MP desyc where state gets confused. the map marker might be the same issue if it’s not occurring in single player. If it’s only occurring with AIRIO loaded it maybe the state is not being passed to Vaicom in MP which I can investigate. 1
