lefuneste01 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Hello, I just purchased the campaign ans start to read docs, as asked. I read in the SPINS "Unless in exceptional circumstances, runway 130 will always be used for takeoff and 310 for landing", and for VL it should always be 130, coming from Python. It seems strange to me we should either do Short Takeoff or Short Landing downwind, as direction of both are opposite. Same for STOL, if wind is not compliant with 130 approach should we arrive at the pad downwind also ? Intel i5 10400K @4.8 GHz, 3080ti, 32 GB RAM, Varjo Areo. I spend my time making 3dmigoto VR mods for BoS and DCS instead of flying, see https://www.patreon.com/lefuneste

Most of the runway is now ramp space so have to approach from certain directions to avoid coming in straight over parked aircraft at low level.
lefuneste01 Posted September 20, 2023 Author Posted September 20, 2023 It make sense, but I didn't know FARP could be setup without capacity to take into accound wind...Is it usual in RL ? Haven't a clue, but probably not. Luckily in DCS I get to control the wind so it's never an issue . 2
