It looks like this

https://ibb.co/tDgvq0Y

https://ibb.co/TgfS7Qn

see how the symbol gets wider and wider like fish eye optic.

and I want to get rid of it.

I want it like Iam used to it in Il2. I dont know if there word is right but maybe "linear" would be it.

I use trackIR

Can anyone help?

It's the way DCS renders the 3D world on one screen. If you have multiple screens there is a way to configure the angle of the placement between them to "remove this". In a perfect world we would all be sitting inside full spheres.

Cheers!

So its how DCS is and it cant be changed?
Well, never say never. I think it really depends on the geometry of your screen and your FOV. Test it with different zoom levels in different FOVs. I have never been able to find a sweet spot.
But take your picture when you look left. Imagine that was a screen you could drag closer to yourself. It should become better, right? I hope I'm explaining this in a meaningful way.

Cheers!

Edit: I'm trying to say it's like an analogy to a Mercator map projection.

Is it possible to fix FOV and to still be able to use zoom?
Always. When you move FOV, you just change your "eye position", and zoom is independent of that.
Someone else will probably give a better explanation than me.

When I zoom it goes always to 140° I want FOV on 105° or so. How to fix it?
Oh! You try to change the FOV with the zoom?
Unless I misunderstood you. For FOV, you can press escape and click options, then use the slider. OR, for better control and refinement. TURN OFF TrackIR!!!!! Then press and hold RCtrl + RShft + NumpadX keyes: Num4 and Num6 for X-axis, Num8 and Num2 for Y-axis, and Num/ and Num for Z-axis. Save with RAlt + Num0.
It's very important to turn off TrackIR, or you will get some strange angles for a reason when you save.

Cheers!

Edit: If you get lost, and want to revert. Let go of all keys and press Num5 BEFORE you save.

If you want to know what was posted in the last post this video here:

that video may solves the problem

It may help. or not.
Yeah, I saw that one a while back. And sure, it might fix things if your screen is large enough.
Have a look at this channel and you can still see it happening, even if it's much better, while the screen is almost wrapped around him.

Cheers!

I dont have a VR goggles right now. Maybe Ill use that screen you posted. Thanks for posting it.

But thats all future music cause I cant afford that right now.

Lets find out which is better. I have known alot people who think VR is the best solution but also people who go back head tracking systems.

Well lets listen to the music of now.

Oh, I feel you! Need a new computer, more screenS, more peripherals, VR etc.
You do have headtracking, right? I have set my FOV pretty low, because I already had a 30" when I started DCS, and I have now recycled an old 24" screen for use with Helios/Ikarus for instruments and MFDs. Could that be an option? Maybe you can find a cheap second hand extra monitor?

Cheers!

wonderful

Are you actually saying that you start the game with wrong FOV? Well, it's currently a bug in the game that has been reported. I fix this by pressing Num Enter on Misson start.
