WIll input device id be changed while replacing to another grip?

Hi,

I am wondering that the device id will be changed for the device profile filename when replacing different one grip to another grip? 

For example, the device profile files are stored under the following directory:

...Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\F-14\joystick

and file name likes:

Joystick - xxx {53DE5530-AB82-11eb-8002-444553540000}.diff.lua

Question: "53DE5530-AB82-11eb-8002-444553540000" will be changed due to the different configuration because the different grip?

Assuming you are using the same base then I don’t believe so

I agree with Baldrick33.  That should be tied to the base, not the grip.
