In the editor you set country when you create the map. You cannot change it once past that step. If you get a good text editor it might be possible to change it but I doubt it.

Not really sure I understand what you have done, so, assuming you have not changed any data files try this.

 

Go to the Temp Folder and delete all the error files in there, keep the missions and the other folder (I forget its name right now).

 

Open the Mission Editor and delete the .miz file that caused the problem. Start again - that might fix it.

 

If you have changed data files I think you need to reinstall everything again, from what you say I think you may have deleted important me.menu file items. That is a dangerous area to play around in and if you do not know your way around and make a mistake in there - well it's endex !!
