F15E GBU Problems

so, i have a question, im trying to use gbu's with the f15e I have the laser armed and the code right. i get what I think is a lock and no fall line/stearpoint and no time to release. what am I doing wrong? I've tried everything I can think of and watched multiple videos and they don't have this problem https://vidmate.onl/ .

At what altitude are you trying? maybe over 25k feet?

In your description i miss the point "Designate a Target"! Locking onto something sounds more like a Point track which stabilizes the Image but has nothing to do with Warheads on Foreheads.

Getting a „lock“ like a point or area track and designating an actual target so you get ASL are 2 different buttons. 
The former (tracking) you do with auto acquisition back, designating a target is TDC Press.
