Gunfreak Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Flew for the first time yesterday. I have my gear and flaps bound to 3 position levers on my winwing take off panel. But they don't work. In all other dcs aircraft. Moving those levers up puts up the gears and flaps. Not in the F1. I have to put them up, down and up again for this to work. This screwed me on my first take offs. As I just assumed my regular movement worked but no, my flaps and gears stayed down and so got stuck as I passed 300 knots. Also there is no proper axis bind for the radar cursor (only mouse) so I can't bind my rdr cursor on my winwing f18 throttle. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
PaulToo Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 The 3 positions of the flaps I have bound to slat/flap lever full up, 1/2 flap, full flap. Works for me with a 3 position switch. Gear is only 2 positions, with the additional safety lever, bound U/C control lever -extend/retract for the gear, and U/C safety lever open/close for the safety latch. The latch doesn't really work, at least for me. Radar cursor is radar control stick bearing control and radar control stick range/velocity control. Both are axis.

Use the axis like @PaulToo mentioned. As for the levers. Have you enabled the sync with HOTAS at mission start setting? The F1 has some issues with that one, so some controls will be reversed at mission start. Like certain functions in other modules, Huey, Gazelle etc. Cheers!

Which of radar control stick bearing control and radar control stick range/velocity control is horizontal and which vertical? i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
