F-16 weasels over syria questions.

Hi folks,

I have about 150 hrs in DCS over the span of a year, mainly fly the f-16 and A10 in VR. As of yesterday I purchased the new "weasels over syria" campaign for steam but was not able to access it in game. Is this only accessible through the open beta?

Also i've been recently informed of the 2.9 open beta. Is there any information of when this will come to steam?

In addition i've been considering moving over to DCS's launcher. Will aircraft/maps/missions purchased on steam be transfered or are you required to start your investment from scratch? Is it difficult to migrate hotas profiles, or are there any compatibility issues when running VR. Currently using a 5800x, 4080 FE, 32 gb ram and pumping out a decent 50 fps on my HP Reverb G2 https://mobdro.bio/ .

it is already available, on the steam game properties just select the open beta version.

the module licenses are easily transferable, so no re-investment needed. Don’t know how hard it is the transfer of settings.
