I haven't flown the JF-17 in probably 8 months. I fired it back up today and am trying to lock a target with my targeting pod following Chuck's Guide. However the target reticle is constantly drifting and when I do attempt to lock a ground target, it unlocks about a second later and keeps drifting.

Has there been a change that wasn't recorded in the Chuck Guide that requires extra steps now?

Thanks for any help

You should also turn on your radar so that the tpod is stabilized.

I had no idea this was a thing, thank you.

thanks for reply guys. my target was about 12nm out. could not get target to stay locked (BMT). and it would then just drift away and I'd lose the target. i don't remember it doing this a while back. hmmm

Chuck's guide

that's not definitive. Check the chinese manual included with the mod. You can use google translate or chatgpt.
