Catapult steam triggered by "request launch" and turned off with ball call

One small immersion-breaking thing for me is how the catapult steam logic works. The steam doesn't appear until an aircraft is hooked into the catapult shuttle, and the steam is still billowing from the waist cats during recoveries when those two cats should be off and stowed.

It would be nice if the "request launch" radio command triggered the steam on all catapults, then the steam would either turn off after x-time since last launch, or turn off with an aircraft's ball call.
