XMP1 RAM profile

If XMP1 RAM profile is ON, DCS MT is unplayable, freezes 10-30 sec, crashing and other.

After disabling everything is fine.

in 2.8 mt was fine, no problems with MT and xmt.

without MT XMP1 profile works fine.

My system: intel core I7-12700K, 3070TI, DDR4-64 gb RAM

  • MorisMD changed the title to XMP1 RAM profile

So turn off XMP in bios and Turn on Resalable Bar . ?

I've just given this a try and i found with XMP off , i had better smooth performance on server . Still testing

That might be but I honestly think you are drawing the wrong conclusion from this scenario.

I would test my XMP with prime95 for at least 1h, better many more. It might be, that your XMP settings are borderline stable and some calculations make it tip over. That can usually be

corrected by raising the DRAM voltage "slightly", say from 1.35v to 1.375v, no 1.45v needed.

XMP is a Harware thing, your DCS crashing is a software thing, they can only correlate with each other over unstable DRAM timings causing your RAM to fail. Luckily, your RAM does not yet cause a BSOD because that, over time, leads to data corruption on your disc. You may get familiar with "sfc /scannow" and "DISM" command.
