The default VR view is very high requiring a significant duck of the head to see the full reflector sight. Easy to adjust, but with the pilot body matched up and from studying the pilots eyeline in F2 the default view seems about right if a little high, while centring the reflector sight seems too low on the pilot body.

Would a real Spitfire require the pilot to duck to see the full sight or are things a little off?

Same here, I am trying to find out why the default view is very high, as you describe one need to duck to see the full reflector. Meta Quest 3 here, all working fine with other aircrafts.

My guess is that in real life, different pilots will have their own preferences for seat height, and even that may vary inflight, eg higher during landings.

Personally I have the move views keyboard buttons mapped for every aircraft such that it’s easy to change.
