Recently TacView stopped working.  It doesn't record track files (.acmi files).

I looked at the DCS.log and it said that the TACVIEW.DLL (MAIN) Failed to create flight data recording [ ] (error: 29).

Any ideas how to fix things?

Thanks.

Better ask in the TacView forum as TacView is not affiliated with Eagle Dynamics.
You, could try to uninstall/re-install TacView, and/or check your export.lua
Cheers!

See following post for possible cause. Tacview might not have permissions anymore to write to your documents folder. For example,  Windows Security → Protection History is enabled

Following the last OS update my computer decided to lock down the file system.  Thankfully it allowed me to specify specific programs to be allowed to write to files.

Thank you for the help.
