Tiger Lead
Recently TacView stopped working. It doesn't record track files (.acmi files). I looked at the DCS.log and it said that the TACVIEW.DLL (MAIN) Failed to create flight data recording [ ] (error: 29). Any ideas how to fix things? Thanks. Solution AdrianL Posted November 8, 2023 Solution Share Posted November 8, 2023 See following post for possible cause. Tacview might not have permissions anymore to write to your documents folder. For example, Windows Security → Protection History is enabled

Tiger Lead
Following the last OS update my computer decided to lock down the file system. Thankfully it allowed me to specify specific programs to be allowed to write to files. Thank you for the help.
