I can't say that I know of any current satellite navigation system ... air, sea, land ... that shows elevation on the maps/charts.

While your statement might be true, there are a variety of SatNav-systems which incorporate elevation data. This is not an important feature for car-navigation, though. Still, there are several GPS-based-navs with displaying elevation-data, like the new 3D from Clarion, the Mio C620 Car Navigation System and different Navis from Garmin, for example.

For other applications, like biking and walking, navigation-systems quite commonly are based on maps with elevations and/or 3D-GPS-positioning.

i think you need to ck cus last i looked it does show the elev rings in the ABRIS ..use the map and then zoom.....it shows the rings..hope tht helps

Please show me screenshot of ABRIS with the index contour line on it. Without index lines other contour lines is useless.

Starting at zero elevation or mean sea level, every fifth contour line is a heavier line. These are known as index contour lines. Normally, each index contour line is numbered at some point. This number is the elevation of that line.

I don't no this for sure because I'm not in front of DCS right now but I think that with the marker tool it give us an altitude. But I could be wrong, have to check that out.
