Hunter Joker Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Hi all, I was unable to map any dial (Rotary Encoder) of my Mongoose T50CM3 under DCS. I read that I need to map them as button under configurator but I try without succeded. Can someoneu send me a link about a tutorial or the exact procedure to do it? Really frustrated that I can use anything apart the buttons. Thank You. Bye. https://www.youtube.com/user/garaganotube

Then pick the opposite keybind and rotate the encoder in the opposite direction. It's as simple as that. 1
jetsimace Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 (edited) I assume you're talking about those two dials bottom right at the throttle (first attached screenshot), right? If so, you are able to map a logical button to action "turn left dial to the left" via this setting (see second attached screenshot, here physical button 62 is the button which is triggered when "turning left dial to the left"). This logical button 51 will be triggered multiple times as long as you turn the left dial to the left and can be mapped (e.g. to "turn brightness of MPD down" etc.) in DCS. virpil sw manual can be found here (but - at least for me - is not 100% self-explanatory ) https://support.virpil.com/en/support/solutions/articles/47001249267-vpc-software-suitenull null Edited July 19, 2024 by jetsimace
