TheSkipjack95 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 How is one meant to access the countermeasures panel behind the seat ? Presumably IRL it is checked/set when stepping in, but in DCS the camera is fairly constrained to the cockpit. Didn't find a snapview or bind to have a good look at that panel to set it. Any advice ?
HHHHHHHHHHH Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 The bind is windows + number pad 5. (Custom snap view 5) I have it bound to a switch on my throttle base as it's momentary and I don't have a number pad. 1
fausete Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 It's also worth noting that the aircraft has to be stopped, have the canopy open and the engine off.
Vibora Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 It is described in our Flight Manual: To access the AN/ALE-40 programmer panel in single seaters, press the “RCtrl + Num0” key combination to lock the snap view and then press “Num5”. The canopy should be open, the aircraft stopped on ground and the engine off to manipulate the panel. Press “RCtrl + Num0” again to go back to normal view. “LWin + Num5” shows a snap view of the panel. 1 1 Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
TheSkipjack95 Posted November 21, 2023 Author Posted November 21, 2023 Tried today, no luck. Even after reinstall of the module
TheSkipjack95 Posted November 21, 2023 Author Posted November 21, 2023 Okay so I figured out why I couldn't make the snapview work. Turns out the customsnapviews.lua in the savedgames folder did something (I moved the default position) and that broke it. 1
